      1. Overview and Acceptance

These Terms apply to the web version of Quirky Ball (the “web version”), which is played in a web browser and is mainly distributed embedded on CrazyGames (crazygames.com and its domains). The web version is provided in Germany by Junhee Choi under the name House Duck. The Android and iOS apps are covered by the separate Quirky Ball Terms of Service for the apps.

You must accept these Terms to use the game. The Privacy Policy for the web version is a notice about personal-data processing; acknowledging it is not blanket consent to that processing. The web version has no separate optional analytics choice; accepting these Terms also means the service analytics described in the Privacy Policy are processed as part of the service.

      2. The Service

Quirky Ball is a free-to-play puzzle game that you play in your browser. The web version includes:

      • Merge puzzle runs, abilities and upgrades, the lab with reagent collection, and related events
      • Automatic guest play without registration (there is no Google or Apple sign-in on the web)
      • A Supabase-based guest account, game-state storage, rankings, and in-game Quick Report to send problem reports to House Duck
      • Virtual currencies and items such as gems, reagent and tickets

Features that need a linked account (for example friends and invitations) are not available in the web version.

Not offered on the web: in-app purchases, advertising by House Duck, rewarded ads, sign-in with Google or Apple, and push notifications. Paid items are available only in the Android and iOS apps.

CrazyGames. The web version is mainly played embedded on CrazyGames. The CrazyGames Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy govern its platform, any CrazyGames account and any ads CrazyGames serves; they are governed by CrazyGames, not by House Duck. House Duck does not operate the CrazyGames platform. These Terms govern your use of the game itself.

      3. Age

Quirky Ball is suitable for all ages. The web version does not ask for your birth date or age.

Whether a minor can enter into a contract and whether a parent’s or other legal guardian’s approval is needed depends on applicable law. Where the law requires it, that approval must be obtained before accepting these Terms and using the game. For children’s data, see Section 10 of the Privacy Policy.

      4. Accounts

      • You play as a guest without registering. When you first play, a guest identifier (UID) and a session token are created automatically and stored in your browser (IndexedDB/local storage). Your progress is stored on House Duck’s server (Supabase) under that guest account.
      • The web version has no sign-in and no account linking. There is no transfer between a web guest account and a Quirky Ball app account. Playing in another browser or on another device creates a different guest account.
      • Browser storage risk: your guest account is tied to the data stored in this browser. If you clear browsing or site data, play in a private window, or use a browser (such as Safari) that deletes website storage after a period without a visit, the guest identifier may be lost and the account, progress and items may become unrecoverable on that browser. This notice does not limit any statutory rights or the operator’s legal obligations.

      5. Purchases and Virtual Items

      • Not offered on the web. There are no in-app purchases and no purchase, restore or refund functions in the web version. Paid items are available only in the Android and iOS apps under the Terms of Service for the apps.
      • Virtual currencies and items (for example gems, reagent and tickets) are obtained by playing the game, including through events. They have no cash or real-world value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged outside the game. This does not limit any refund or restoration right required by mandatory law.
      • Virtual currencies, items and progress are stored in your browser and in the server account. If the account is deleted, unrecoverable guest progress is lost (section 4), or the service ends, they are lost and cannot be restored. This statement does not exclude any right under law.
      • The operator may adjust how virtual currencies and items are earned or used to maintain game balance, subject to applicable law and section 12. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.

      6. Advertising and Service Analytics

      • House Duck does not show advertising of its own in the web version and does not use an advertising SDK there for now. Rewarded ads are not offered on the web. If ads are shown later, they come through the CrazyGames SDK and are governed by CrazyGames’ policies.
      • The web version of Quirky Ball processes House Duck’s own usage analytics (such as session, progress, scores and errors, including basic stability diagnostics), sent to its server on Supabase, as part of the service. There is no separate optional consent; analytics are collected after you accept these Terms.
      • These analytics are used only to improve the service (game balance, tutorial flow, bug fixing) and never for advertising or third-party analytics. How to object is described in Sections 8 and 9 of the Privacy Policy.
      • Data processing related to analytics is governed by the Privacy Policy.

      7. Rankings and Social Features

      • Rankings show your nickname/display code, country, profile customization and ranking values (such as best score or lab power) to other users.
      • Detailed play, weekly and season records are normally kept for 28 days; record-specific timestamps and the next daily cleanup follow section 6 of the Privacy Policy. Best records and current ranking values are kept while the account exists.
      • Friends can see each other’s nickname, country, ranking values, tier, profile customization and ranking changes. Friend requests, relationships, gifts and invitation status are stored on the server to provide those features.
      • Invitation rewards are granted only when the conditions shown in the app are met; self-invitations, mutual invitations and similar abuse are not rewarded.

Inappropriate nicknames or abnormal scores may be removed from rankings. Ranking removal, nickname measures, or social-feature restrictions are based on verifiable facts and applied proportionately to the violation. Where possible, we give reasons and an opportunity to request review through support. A legitimate refund or rights request is not abuse by itself.

Friends, gifts and invitations require a linked account and are therefore not available in the guest-only web version.

      8. Quick Report and Prohibited Conduct

You can send a problem report with Settings → Quick Report. The report text and basic app information (app version, build, platform and language) are linked to your account so we can investigate. Do not include passwords, payment details or other people’s personal data. A Quick Report does not guarantee an individual reply; if you need a reply or want to exercise legal rights, email support@houseduck.in.

      You must not:

      • Manipulate the game using cheats, automation tools, or modified clients, or exploit bugs to obtain currencies, items or rankings
      • Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the Software (except as permitted by applicable law)
      • Attack or overload the servers or ranking systems
      • Use nicknames or reports that defame or offend others, or send spam or abusive reports
      • Violate applicable laws

Where a violation is established, the Operator may restrict use or particular features, withhold or reverse improperly obtained rewards, or remove ranking entries, based on the facts and proportionately. Account deletion is used only where necessary; where possible, reasons and an opportunity for support review are provided. Exercising legal rights is not grounds for a sanction.

      9. Intellectual Property

Intellectual-property rights in the Software belong to the Operator or relevant third-party licensors. The Operator grants only a non-transferable, non-exclusive license for personal, non-commercial use. Exceptions permitted by applicable law remain unaffected.

      10. Statutory Conformity and Rights

Statutory requirements for conformity of digital products and the remedies arising from them, as well as other mandatory rights, remain unaffected. These protections take precedence also in cases of account or data loss, entitlement adjustments, restrictions or account termination, service discontinuation, and game-balance changes. Recovery or restoration limitations elsewhere in these Terms do not exclude purchase-restoration or refund rights under law or store policy.

Where applicable, you may request remedies for defective digital products, including correction, a price reduction or termination, and necessary security updates. Store refund procedures are not the only route for exercising statutory rights; requests concerning the Operator’s responsibilities may be sent to support@houseduck.in. Statutory withdrawal rights do not automatically expire merely through downloading, use, or these Terms.

      11. Limitation of Liability

Liability is unrestricted for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and any liability that cannot be limited by law. For ordinary negligence, liability for breach of essential contractual duties may be limited, to the extent permitted by law, to foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

      12. Changes and Interruption of Service

Changes or discontinuation for updates, maintenance, or technical reasons are subject to applicable law, including the requirements of German Civil Code Section 327r where applicable. Where required, this includes valid reasons, no additional cost, clear notice, information on a durable medium, and statutory termination or refund rights for impairment.

      13. Account Deletion and Data

      • You can delete your account at any time in the game under Settings → Delete Account, or request deletion through the account deletion page or by email.
      • Deletion removes the account profile, progress, currencies and items, synchronization state, mailbox and in-game reports, and cannot be undone. Some detailed play records may remain under the 28-day calculation and daily cleanup in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
      • Clearing your browser data does not delete the server account. It only removes the identifiers stored in your browser, which may make the account unrecoverable for you (section 4). To have the server data deleted, request deletion.
      • Minimal records strictly required for legal obligations, fraud prevention or legal claims may remain until those purposes end. Purchases made in the mobile apps are handled under the Terms of Service for the apps.
      • If you cannot access the game, you can request deletion by email. Nicknames and display codes may be visible to other users and are not authentication. Do not send passwords or payment details. Where necessary, we will explain the minimum additional information needed to process the request. See the account deletion page and the Privacy Policy.

      14. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect legal changes or service improvements. Material changes will be announced in advance through an in-app notice or this page. Continued use alone is not automatic agreement to all changes or optional personal-data processing. Changes requiring separate consent by law require that consent; rights under applicable law and mandatory consumer protections are not waived.

      15. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany (the Operator's place of residence). Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected where applicable.
