1. Scope
These terms govern your use of the mobile game HEXAWORLD 1984 ("the game") provided by House Duck ("we", "us"). By installing, launching or continuing to play the game you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, you may not use the game.
2. The Service
- The game is a single-player idle battle game that starts without a sign-up step.
- Your account is a guest (anonymous) account created on your device. You may optionally link a Google or Apple account to carry your progress over to another device.
- Progress is stored on your device and in our cloud (Supabase).
- Ranking, friends, mail and notifications need an internet connection. The core game keeps running offline.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for your account and device.
- A guest account cannot be recovered if you lose the device or delete the app data. Linking an account is recommended.
- The game is not intended for children under 14.
4. Virtual Currency and Purchases
- Coupons, gems, keys, parts and similar items are virtual goods usable only inside the game. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another person.
- Paid items are purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Payments and refunds follow the policy of that store and applicable law.
- We may change the value, acquisition and usage of virtual goods for balance and operations reasons. Material changes are announced in-game beforehand.
- Where random items are offered, the drop rates are shown inside the game.
5. Advertising
- The game shows ads through Google AdMob. Watching a rewarded ad to the end grants an in-game reward.
- Consent related to advertising identifiers is collected on first launch, and you can review your privacy options in the settings at any time.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- modify the client, network traffic or stored data, or use automation to obtain ranks or rewards unfairly;
- impersonate another player or misuse another player's nickname or friend code;
- infringe our or a third party's intellectual property;
- interfere with the normal operation of the service.
We may remove ranking entries or restrict access if we confirm such behaviour.
7. User Content
- Nicknames and friend codes are visible to other players. We may rename or hide nicknames that are abusive, discriminatory or used for advertising, without prior notice.
- Gifts sent to friends are in-game currency only and unclaimed gifts may expire.
8. Changes and Termination of the Service
- We may change, suspend or discontinue the service.
- If we discontinue the service we will give at least 30 days' notice in-game and explain how any remaining paid currency will be handled.
9. Liability
- We are not liable for damage caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as force majeure, network failures or problems with your device.
- Where we act with intent or gross negligence, liability is limited to the extent provided by applicable law.
- Nothing in this section limits rights you have under mandatory law.
10. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, once your account is linked to Google or Apple. If you cannot open the app, or have not linked an account, you can request deletion by email. 11. Changes to These Terms
- We may update these terms. We announce changes in-game at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that are disadvantageous to you).
- If you do not agree with a change, you may stop using the service and delete your account.
12. Governing Law and Contact
- These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, where we operate. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
