1. Overview and Acceptance
These Terms govern 10key Survival, a game provided by Junhee Choi under the name House Duck in Germany (the “Operator”). They apply on every platform or store through which you play or obtained 10key Survival (for example CrazyGames, Google Play, the Apple App Store or Steam; each a “platform”).
Use of the game requires acceptance of these Terms. The shared House Duck Privacy Policy (section 13 describes 10key Survival) is a notice explaining personal-data processing; acknowledging it is not blanket consent to that processing.
These Terms are an agreement between you and the Operator about the game. Your use of the platform, your platform account, and any purchase, payment or ads on the platform are also governed by the platform’s own terms and privacy policy. If you obtained 10key Survival from a store, that store’s terms for apps, including its licence terms, also apply.
2. The Service
10key Survival is a single-player arcade game in which you steer a 3D numeric keypad over a board of keyboard keys. It includes:
- The game itself, which can be played offline. Your progress (levels, upgrades and the in-game parts called “scrap”), in the Android and iOS apps also your gem keycaps, and your settings are saved only on your device or in your browser’s storage.
- Online rankings (a weekly board and an all-time board) on the Operator’s server, which need an internet connection. On CrazyGames, your results are sent only if you are signed in to your CrazyGames account (optional). In the Android and iOS apps, they are sent with your House Duck guest account (section 3).
- In the Android and iOS apps: optional in-app purchases of gem keycaps and the Revive Pass (section 5).
Whether 10key Survival is offered on a particular platform, whether it is free or paid there, and which platform features (for example sign-in or ads) are available can differ between platforms.
3. Accounts and Platforms
- CrazyGames: 10key Survival uses only your CrazyGames account; there is no House Duck account. You can play without signing in; your results are then not sent to the rankings.
- Your platform account is provided by the platform under its own terms. The Operator cannot create, change, recover or delete it. On CrazyGames, the display name and avatar shown on the boards come from your platform account and are changed there.
- Guest account (Android and iOS): at the first start, the app asks for your birth year and month and for your agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. From age 14, you choose a nickname and the app creates a House Duck guest account for you, without an email address or password. The guest account holds your nickname for the rankings and your in-app purchases. Players under 14 play without an account (section 4).
- Nickname: your nickname is shown publicly on the rankings. It must not be offensive or unlawful and must not impersonate the Operator or other people. The game refuses names on its word list, and the Operator may refuse or reset a nickname that breaks this rule, after a proportionate assessment. You can change your nickname in the app’s profile.
- Keeping the guest account: the guest account is kept on your device through its sign-in only; it has no password or recovery code. If you log out, delete the app or its data, or move to another device, you cannot sign back into that guest account. The Revive Pass can be restored to a new guest account (section 5). In the app’s profile you can also delete the guest account (section 13).
- Local saves: because your progress, settings and, in the apps, your gem keycaps are stored only on your device or in your browser’s storage, they may be lost if you delete the game or its data, clear your browser’s site data or play in a private window, and they are not carried over to another device or browser. The Operator holds no copy and cannot restore them; for gems you bought, see section 5. This does not limit your statutory rights.
4. Minors
A minor’s contractual capacity and any need for approval by a parent or other legal representative are governed by applicable law. Where legally required, that approval must be obtained for accepting these Terms, using the game and making paid purchases. The platform’s own age rules also apply. Players below the age at which they may consent to data processing on their own should play only with the permission of a parent or guardian; see section 13 of the Privacy Policy. In the Android and iOS apps, players under 14 cannot create a guest account and cannot make in-app purchases; they play with their progress on the device only. This section does not impose additional liability on the representative or waive a minor’s statutory rights.
5. Purchases and Refunds
- Where 10key Survival, or anything in it, is sold for a price, the purchase is made through the platform or store. It processes the payment, shows the price, taxes and payment terms, and its terms govern the purchase. The Operator receives no payment card data.
- In-app purchases (Android and iOS): the apps sell gem keycaps (“gems”) in packs and the Revive Pass. The exact contents and price of each product are shown in the app and in the store before purchase. Gems are consumable: they are used up when spent, and they can be spent only on the one revive per run after the battery runs out. The Revive Pass is a permanent one-time purchase that makes that revive free; it never gives more than one revive per run.
- In-app purchases are paid only through Google Play Billing on Android and the App Store on iOS. The Operator’s server verifies each purchase with Google or Apple before the game grants it. A purchase needs the guest account and is bound to the guest account that made it.
- Restore purchases: the Revive Pass can be restored with Restore purchases in the game, using the same store account (Google account or Apple ID), also on a new device or for a new guest account. Gem packs are consumable store purchases; once granted, they are not restored by the store or by Restore purchases.
- Gems are kept in the game’s save on your device. They are lost when that save is lost (for example when the app or its data is deleted) and are not restored automatically. If gems you bought are lost, you can contact support with the store order ID; the Operator checks its purchase records.
- Refunds and withdrawal follow the store’s or platform’s refund process (for in-app purchases, Google Play’s or Apple’s refund rules) and mandatory consumer law; statutory rights are not limited. Requests concerning the Operator’s own obligations can be sent to support@houseduck.in.
- When a refund, cancellation or chargeback of an in-app purchase is confirmed, the Operator may revoke the Revive Pass bought with it. Gems already spent are not taken back.
- If objective evidence shows repeated purchase-and-refund cycles, receipts claimed for more than one account, or manipulation of purchases or of the gem balance, the Operator may, proportionately, refuse the affected purchases or exclude the player from the rankings. The player can contact support about the decision and request a review.
- A legitimate refund request or the exercise of mandatory consumer rights is not by itself grounds for a sanction.
- In-game items and progress, including upgrades, the in-game parts called “scrap” and gem keycaps, have no cash or real-world value and cannot be sold or exchanged for money. Gems and the Revive Pass cannot be transferred to another account or player and cannot be exchanged for scrap. This does not limit refunds or restoration rights required by mandatory law or store policy.
- The Operator may adjust how in-game items, upgrades, scrap and gems are earned or used to keep the game balanced, subject to applicable law and section 11. Statutory consumer rights and refund or restoration rights under law or store policy remain unaffected.
6. Ads
- Where 10key Survival is free on a platform, that platform may show ads (today on CrazyGames). These ads are shown by the platform under its own terms and privacy policy, and any ad consent or ad choices are managed by the platform.
- The Android and iOS apps show no ads.
- 10key Survival itself contains no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK of its own. Data processing for the game is described in section 13 of the Privacy Policy.
7. Online Rankings
- The boards publicly show the rank, display name (on CrazyGames) or nickname (in the Android and iOS apps), avatar, score and level of players whose results are sent, to anyone who views them.
- Results are checked automatically (plausibility checks and rate limits). A result that fails these checks is flagged and may not count for the boards.
- Weekly boards are kept for 12 weeks. Other retention periods and deletion on request are described in section 13 of the Privacy Policy.
8. Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Use cheats, bots, macros or other automation tools, or modified clients, to obtain scores or ranking positions
- Tamper with the game, its saved data or the data it sends to the server in order to obtain scores or ranking positions
- Exploit bugs or errors to obtain scores or ranking positions
- Send data to the server other than through the unmodified game, or attack, overload or circumvent the server, its rate limits or its checks
- Choose a nickname that breaks section 3
- Manipulate purchases, receipts or the gem balance, or claim purchases made by others
- Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the Software (except as permitted by applicable law)
- Violate applicable laws
Where a violation is established, the Operator may, based on the facts and proportionately, remove or refuse records and exclude the player from the rankings, reset a nickname, or take the purchase measures in section 5. Where possible, the Operator gives reasons and an opportunity to request a review through support@houseduck.in. Exercising legal rights is not grounds for a sanction. Offline play is not affected by these measures.
9. Intellectual Property and Licence
Intellectual-property rights in the Software and its content belong to the Operator or relevant third-party licensors. The Operator grants you only a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use 10key Survival for personal, non-commercial play on the platforms through which it is offered. Exceptions permitted by applicable law remain unaffected. Where a store’s licence terms apply (section 1), they also apply.
10. Statutory Conformity and Rights
Statutory requirements for conformity of digital products and the remedies arising from them, as well as other mandatory rights, remain unaffected. These protections take precedence also in cases of loss of locally saved progress, removal of records, exclusion from the rankings, changes to or the end of online features, and game-balance changes.
Where applicable, you may request remedies for defective digital products, including correction, a price reduction or termination, and necessary security updates. Store refund procedures are not the only route for exercising statutory rights; requests concerning the Operator’s responsibilities may be sent to support@houseduck.in. Statutory withdrawal rights do not automatically expire merely through downloading, use, or these Terms.
11. Availability and Changes to the Service
- The Operator may update 10key Survival. The online rankings depend on the Operator’s server and may be changed, interrupted or ended. If online features end, 10key Survival remains playable without them for as long as it is available on your platform or installed on your device.
- The online rankings are an additional feature. The Operator does not promise that they are available at all times or free of errors, that a particular result will be accepted, or a particular ranking position. Sections 10 and 12 remain unaffected.
- Whether 10key Survival stays available on a platform also depends on that platform.
- Changes or discontinuation for updates, maintenance, or technical reasons are subject to applicable law, including the requirements of German Civil Code Section 327r where applicable. Where required, this includes valid reasons, no additional cost, clear notice, information on a durable medium, and statutory termination or refund rights for impairment.
12. Limitation of Liability
Liability is unrestricted for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and any liability that cannot be limited by law. For ordinary negligence, liability for breach of essential contractual duties may be limited, to the extent permitted by law, to foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
13. Termination and Your Data
- You can stop using 10key Survival at any time. In the Android and iOS apps, you can delete your guest account in the game (your profile, then Hold to delete account under Account); on every platform you can ask by email for your data to be deleted. Deleting the guest account removes its nickname, rankings, Revive Pass record and gem records on the Operator’s server; your progress on the device stays, and the Revive Pass can be restored to a new guest account (section 5). See section 13 of the Privacy Policy.
- For serious or repeated violations of section 8, the Operator may exclude a player from the rankings permanently, after a proportionate assessment of the facts.
- The right of both parties to terminate for good cause and all statutory rights remain unaffected.
14. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect legal changes, changes on the platforms or service improvements. Material changes will be announced in advance on this page or in the game. Continued use alone is not automatic agreement to all changes or to optional personal-data processing. Changes requiring separate consent by law require that consent; rights under applicable law and mandatory consumer protections are not waived.
15. Governing Law, Severability and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany (the Operator's place of residence). Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected where applicable.
If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect; the statutory rules apply in place of the invalid provision.
